King Felix gets beat up by the Jays again

King Felix must have like nightmares about the Jays as in his 8 seasons in the majors he has given up 7 plus runs 15 times and tonight with the Jays winning 6-3 to avoid the sweep at the hand of the M's put up 7 runs in four innings against the King and it just happened to be the third time the Jays had put at least 7 runs against him. The Jays started warm with a Colby Rasmus single and he was driven home by Adam Lind's 10th homer of the season but in the top of the second Henderson Alvarez gave it right back as Carlos Peguero with two outs and two in scoring position delivered a two-run double to tie up the game. The story of the game also happened in the bottom of the first when Edwin Encarnacion cracked his bat and flow into the Jays dugout where it hit Bruce Walton and he he suffered a contusion on his arm and had to leave the bench for the rest of the game and the bullpen coach needed to come in and become the pitching coach. In the bottom of the fourth the Jays laid the boots to King Felix as they batted around and it looked really harmless to start as Kelly Johnson strike out and Rajai Davis hit a ball down the third base line and it stayed fair and as the ball stayed on the ground he went too far towards second and was caught in-between first and second and still made it back safely. Then after a stolen base he moved to third on a bunt single but went around third and was out and it was a runner on first with two outs and then collected three hits and a walk on their way to collect 5 runs. The big hits were a Brett Lawrie two-run single and after Colby Rasmus walked Edwin Encarnacion launched a three-run homer to cap the five run inning and give him 40 homers and 102 RBIs this season. Henderson Alvarez really controlled the game and did not let the M's back into the game and went 7 very strong innings and gave up three runs on 5 hits with three walks and picked up his 9 victory of the season and now leads the Jays in wins.
