Jays shutout O's behind clutch hitting
Jays shutout 4-0 behind a five hitter Arron Laffy over 5.2 innings and he retired 8 O's before given up a single to Adam Jones before he put it into the hands of the bullpen and they shut down the O's on one hit and three walks to finish off the shutout.
The Jays used two out hits off Joe Sanders the O's starter as Brett Lawrie lead off the game with a single and with two outs Yunel Escobar and then Yan Gomez drove in Lawrie with a RBI single to give the Jays a 1-0 lead after one inning. Sanders after retiring the Jays in order before Rajai Davis and then Adeiny Hechavarria doubled him home in the fourth and they had four two out hits of the Jays 13 hits.
The Jays put away the game with a two-run seventh inning with J.P, singled to open the inning and then Anthony Gose bunted him to second and reached base on a fielding error on third baseman Manny Machado and then with one out and Colby Rasmus and Edwin Encarnacion both had a RBI single.
All the Jays hitters collected a hit and Rajai Davis, Yunel Escobar, Yan Gomez, and J.P. all had two of the Jays hits and it was break out game the Jays needed to make themselves feel positive.
Still wanting for the Jays to came home and what Yunel Esobar gets
