Brandon Morrow and Omar Visquel help the Jays to win
The Jays behind the great pitching of Brandon Morrow who went 6 innings of 4 hit ball with 4 ks and a walk and did have to stick up for Moses Sierra losing a fly ball in the sun and not able to find it even though it was right in front of him in the first. Moses Sierra did pick up his mistake with a RBI single in the eighth to fifth and final run of a 5-0 victory.
Jon Lester went into the 7 inning given up only one hit and then the Jays bats went wild pitching up 6 hits in the last two at bats as it started very innocently with a two out hit by Anthony Gose who singled and then was replaced by pitch runner Rajai Davis who stole second and was on the move to third as Omar Visquel singled through the infield to get the Jays on the board with his second hit of the game. Adeiny Hechavarria on the next pitch from Lester smashed a ball into the left field corner for a two-run homer and the only question was if it would be fair or foul. Lester went 7 innings and gave up 3 runs on 4 hits with a walk and 7 ks of the Jays and then in came Daniel Bard who faced three batters and gave up two hits and a walk including a RBI single by Colby Rasmus to drive in a ground-rule double to Brett Lawrie.
It was good see Morrow bounce back from being slammed around by the M's and now is tied with Alvarez with 9 wins
