Jared Weaver began with 6 strike outs through the first time throw the order and it took Travis Snider in the top of the 5 inning to get a hit off Weaver with 2 outs and he pitched 7.2 innings and throw 125 pitches (77 s - 48 b) and only got into trouble 6 inning when Jose Molina doubled down the right field line and Johnny Mac singled him to third as Mac replaced Davis and Nix went into the outfield and Yanul Escobar singled Molina in to make it 3-1. Then Vernon Wells showed some more of his professional behavioral as he caught the second out of the inning and walked towards the infield as he thought it was 3 outs and Johnny Mac and Yanul Escobar both moved up a base but then Weaver got the third out without more damage done. Then in the 8 inning Weaver started walking the batters in the inning before being taken out but Hisanori Takahashi for him. Weaver gave up 4 hits, 1 run, 4 walks, and a career high 15 strike outs while the Bullpen including Fernando Rodney with a 3 up / 3 down 9 inning to pick up his second save of the young season.
Jo Jo Reyes stuck in there after throwing 30 pitches mostly strikes in the first inning and the only blimp in the inning was a Torii Hunter single scoring and then he kept battling through 7 innings and 119 pitches (88 s - 31 b) in the game. He also did not receive the timely defense when he needed it as Rajai Davis lost a ball in the sky and it went off his glove in the fourth inning and then a Peter Bourjos fly ball split the outfielders with 2 on and nobody was around until Rajai Davis got it at the wall and by the time he got it back to the infield the Bourjos was standing at third and was left on as the Angels took a 3-0 lead. Jo Jo Reyes gave up 6 hits, 1 earned run as the other 2 are unearned because of the Rajai Davis error in the outfield while walking 1 and striking out 6 in his 7 inning pitched but the Jays were not able to get anything more than a single run as the Jays lose 3-1 and have lost 2 in a row and King Felix is waiting for the Jays in Seattle.
Hope for a weaker King Felix then usually and get a win
