Blue Jays - 7-9 - The Jays first 10 game road trip is over and Ricky Romero had a hard time @ fenway park

After a 9-1 drubbing against the Boston Red Soxs with Daisuke Matsuzaka on the mound and he throw 7 innings of 1 hit ball along with 3 K and a walk while Ricky Romero pitched 4.1 innings and gave up 5 earn runs on 5 hits along with 5 walks and gave up homer to Jared Lowrie and he ended up with 4 RBIs in the game. So the only thing to remember now is that the Jays have played 12.5 % of their road games now and with 5 game home stand against New York Yankees (2 games) and Tampa Bay Rays (3 games) and will need to get their bats working again with the home cooking as Travis Snider who is batting .151, Arron Hill who is batting .233, and Adam Lind who is batting .230 so far this season. The road trip of 3-7 was less than my expectation but with the blow up bullpen game, the umpires horrible call, and games where fielding mistakes that cost the team victories so it is going to be interesting to see if the Jays can put some road wins together the next time they get on the road against the Texas Rangers, the New York Yankees, and the Tampa Bay Rays which is another 10 game road trip following this upcoming 5 game home stand.

The Jays have traded David Purcey to Oakland for Daniel Farquhar who is a 24-year-old right-hander who was the property of the Blue Jays in the past before they traded him to the Oakland A's along with Trystan Magnuson for Rajai Davis. Daniel Farquhar has had 4 relief appearance and has pitch 8 innings and 9 Ks for Triple A Sacramento and will now be headed triple A Las Vegas.

It is very close to being done that Brandon Morrow will be put back into the rotation Friday night against the Tampa Bay Rays after having not so good rehab starts and the Jays are hoping that he find his control when he gets up to the big team. This will be interesting as he seems to have good control games and then during some other starts he can not throw a strike even if the strike zone is the Atlantic ocean so lets see what kind of pitcher Morrow will be when he pitches on Friday.

So in the end the Jays have 2 10 game road trips early in the season and then it will be shorter road trips
