Blue Jays - The Jays took the king castle but bullpen gave it right back in the last couple of innings

King Felix had an off game as he was extremely hittable tonight as he had rough innings in almost every inning. Even though it was not completely his fault as his defense mailed it in and if they could assist King Felix by picking him up they would do the complete opposite an it started in the second inning as Jayson Nix hit a ball off Chris Figgins's wrist and Travis Snider scored to make it 1-0 Jays. Then in the top of the third inning Bautista hit a ground ball to shortstop Brendan Ryan who throw the ball wildly to first and Bautista slide into first baseball and then later he was caught in a run down and still made it safely into second base and then Arron Hill hit a double to score Bautista and that is when J.P. looped a ball just in-between Luis Rodriguez and Ichiro for a base hit and Hill moves up to third base and then Hill scored when Snider grounded out and J.P. was out at second but the Jays 3 - Mariners 0. Then in the fourth inning the Jays got more hits and more help from the Mariners as the catcher Miguel Olivo with Edwin Encarnacion on third and Jayson Nix on second got mixed with King Felix pitch where his glove was in the wrong spot and got passed him which allowed Edwin to score and Nix to get to third and then Yanul Escobar hit a sac fly the 8th by the Jays which ties the Reds with 8 and the Jays lead 5-0 after 4. To basically finish off King Felix with Jayson Nix getting on with his third hit of the game that brought Cory Patterson to the plate in his first game as a Blue Jay hit a 1-2 from King Felix out of the park and his second try to crack the Jays lineup started well (he was in Jays training camp in '08 but it was a disaster). In the end King Felix got eaten up and spit out given up 12 hits, 7 earned runs, 6 strike outs, and 2 walks in 6 innings and all in all the Jays did not meet the CY winning King Felix tonight because most likely than not they will meet him again and it will not be as easy as it was tonight.

Then the Jays had Jesse Litsch going to the mound to face the Mariners and he struggled in the first but got out of it without getting in true trouble and then in the bottom of the third with a hit and 2 walks on Justin Smoak at the plate with the bases juiced and a 3-2 count he swung at ball 4 in the dirt and then Miguel Olivo came to the plate flied out to end the inning. Jesse pitched 5 IP, 5 hits, 4 struck out, and did not give up a hit but did walk 4 batters and throw 111 pitches (62 s - 49 b).
