Jo Jo Reyes started the game unbeatable with only an infield hit that got doubled up and Reyes faced 6 batters in the first 2 innings and only throw 20 pitches but with 1 out and Yorvit Torrealba @ the plate hit a ball to Edwin Encarnacion but he throws it away and after Mitch Moreland struck out. With 2 outs Jo Jo Reyes faced 6 more batters in the inning and could not get the finally out of inning as he gave up a walk, single, double, hit batter, single, and a double hit towards Cory Patterson who was scared of the wall and may of been able to catch the ball if he had gone after the fly ball harder, and then Carlos Villanueva came in and pitched 3.1 innings of no hit ball. In the end Jo Jo Reyes after having the throwing error behind him blow up really good as he it get to his head and he gave up 6 runs and all were unearned but he needs to able to put that error behind him and go back to the kind of stuff that he throw to the first 7 batters of the game and the game would of been much better.
The Jays were able to hit the tar out of the baseball again as they had 14 hits in the game and it started in the third inning with the bases loaded Adam Lind got a sac fly and then Juan Rivera singled in Mike McCoy to make it 2-0 and after the Rangers third inning came to bat and Mike McCoy singled in Cory Patterson and Jose Bautista doubled in 2 to make it 6-5. Then in the 7 inning Juan Rivera came to the plate and got his second of three hits and it was a solo jack to tie the game @ 6 and Juan Rivera ended up with a 3 for 4 including a walk.
Then in the 7 inning John Farrell made a head scratcher bring in Octavio Dotel to pitch to left hander Mitch Moreland slugged one to the deepest part of the field to give the Rangers a 7-6 win but the Jays had their chance in the 9 inning with runners at the corners and Edwin battled but ended up striking out to end the game.
So in other news Davis will be ready to come back up in the next couple of days and Cory Patterson is walking on egg shells and not playing all out in the outfield and then he also got mixed up and was caught stealing and looked confused after the play.
The Jays have Brandon Marrow on the mound tomorrow afternoon and lets hope it is like his last outing
