So to start Rajai Davis was placed on the 15 day DL as of yesterday while David Purcey who gave up 2 hits and a walk along with given up 3 earn runs and got 1 out and throw 6 strikes on 16 pitches last night was re-assigned tonight. Casey Janssen and Brad Mills were recalled from triple A where Mills is 0-1 given up 2 runs (1 earn runs) with 7 hits and 7 strikes in 7 innings pitched and Janssen pitched 2 innings while down there and gave up a hit and strike out 3 batters. Casey Janssen and Brad Mills may strengthen the bullpen as Casey Janssen has pitched 2.1 innings and gave up 3 hits but no runs given up in 3 games and Brad Mills can hopefully better the performance of David Purcey and I believe that last night was a horrible nightmare and I believe that the bullpen will wake-up tonight and help Ricky Romero go 3-0 this season and stop the 3-game losing streak while the Seattle Mariners won their first game in the last 8 games last night and will be heading into tonight game with a record of 3-7.
