Game 2 - 2-0 - Kyle Drabek did his best Roy Halladay impression with more walks

Minnesota Twins (0-2) Vs Toronto Blue Jays (2-0) - Game 2

Kyle Drabek pitched 7 innings and throw 101 pitches (54 strikes - 47 balls) and he gave a single walk to Joe Mauer in the first time through the line-up and then in his the 4Th inning Tsuyoshi Nishioka lead off with a walk, stole second, and Justin Morneau grounded out for the Twins only run against Drabek. Then in the 6 inning with one out Denard Span got the first hit off Drabek with a ground ball through the infield and Travis Snider had a sloppy throwing error to have Span in scoring position at second base but Drabek came back with his 6Th strike out (Nishioka) and followed it up with his 10 ground ball to end the 6Th inning while Drabek struck out 7 and had 11 ground balls (12 outs) so the Twins of 25 batters to face Drabek only had 2 balls hit into the air which is very Halladay like.

The Blue Jays got a home run from Jose Molina (who caught for J.P. today) to take a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 3Rd and then Jayson Nix hit his first home run as a Blue Jay in the 4Th. Then in the 5Th inning with Bautista on third and Lind on first Edwin Encarnacion hit a ground ball and ran it out and Bautista scored to make it 3-1 when John Farrell went to his bench for Travis Snider who had come into the game 4 for 5 with 2 homers and 3 rbis against Twins reliever Kevin Slowey and he only hit a double down the line and 2 rbis on the first pitch he saw to make it 5-1. Adam Lind got a sacrifice fly for the Jays 6 run as the jays won 6-1 and Francisco Liriano was completely off his game as he walked 5 hitters and throw a wild pitch and also gave up 2 home runs and throw 90 pitches and throw 44 balls in 4.1 innings.

The Blue Jays got another 2 innings of shutout ball again and did not give up a hit with Shawn Camp and Marc Rzepczynski pitched an inning each and the Twins only got 2 fly ball outs and even the only hit was a ground ball through the infield and the just over 27,000 fans went home very happy and watch a very good pitching performance.

The Jays have started 2-0
