Rajai Davis had a career game and J.P. was a monster

Rajai Davis who had 11 homers and 157 RBIs in his 597 games in MLB career before tonight game and tonight he had a career game to say the least as went deep twice and drove 4 RBIs in a Jays wipe washing of the Mets 14-5. It felt like an opening day for J.P. Arencibia who went deep twice as he had 6 RBIs and he added a two-run single to go with a three-run homer to get the Jays on the board in the first and had a lead of homer in the third inning. Yan Gomez hit his first career homer to add on his sac fly RBI and the Jays scored in 5 of the first 6 inning and the Jays were very well in control as they lead 14-1 with the five homers and then the Mets put together an inning in the eighth against Evan Crawford who was off as he walked his first batter and then hit Justin Turner and some how he was hurt and continued by getting a fly out and then Luis Perez came in and walked the bases loaded and then got a ground ball and a run scored and then Scott Hairston hit a three-run shot to close the inning. Ricky Romero was throwing strikes in the first as he throw 14 strikes in his 20 pitches and then in his sixth and his final inning he throw 13 strikes in his 16 pitches but in-between he throw 63 pitches in the middle four innings and throw only 33 for strikes. He walked 4 more batters and gave up only a run on 3 hits and he is now 5-1 and it is shocking to see him pitching nowhere near his best yet and when he gets righted he will have an amazing record by end of the season maybe not Halladay but close. It was an extremely interesting crowd as it was like a college feel to it and I helped start it when I looked around and saw a look of empty seats and their was almost no walk i.e. I went right to a ticket window less than a hour before first pitch so I said out loud that the Mets did not have the Yankees fan base as the night before there was over 30 thousand. This started a game long bashing of the Mets fans with loud chants "Mets suck" and they got booed when they stood up and other people mentioned that it was a much smaller crowd than the Yankees series and the 26 thousand plus really showed up late and was two thousand less than Wednesday and four thousand less than Thursday but still a decent crowd and hopefully it will be even better tomorrow with the Kids day and the one O'clock. IT was a great game now it is Morrow on the mound tomorrow and in bubble head on Sunday which will still be a mess even with 20,000 of them Tom Mehegan
