Adam Lind sent down and Lawrie take his medicine and sit for 4

Adam Lind has been sent down to Las Vegas to join the 51s as he has been struggling at the plate as he batted .186 with only 3 homers and 11 RBIs with 14 walks and 24 Ks in 34 games and he will be needing to go down and fix his confidence and fine tune his hitting stroke and he probably be back around the all-star break. He has not been working well as a clean-up hitter and hopefully will be nowhere near clean-up when he comes back to Toronto and he has been taken his struggles to the infield where his former awesome glove has a lot of holes in it and has 5 errors over at first with 2 of them in his last game in the field and his fielding hopefully gets better down with the 51s. To replace Adam Lind they have called up Yan Gomes and in 33 games he is batting .359 with 5 homers and 22 RBIs with 12 doubles with 26 Ks and only 6 walks. He will be right now the third baseman for the next four games as Brett Lawrie will be sitting out until the Jays head to Tampa on Monday as he will be serving his four game suspension for his outburst and helmet throwing competition on Tuesday night. To replace Lind at first will be Edwin Encarnacion who has a hot bat and is better at first then he was at the beginning of last season and was able to keep a wild throw from Lawrie in front of him with a diving stab. To Replace Encarnacion at DH will most likely be Ben Francisco who has been hitting (5 of 24) with only one extra base hit which is a double and has been walked 2 and was k'd 5 times. If Francisco does not hit and Gomes does he will become the DH or Valdy is ready at some point then he will become the DH for the Jays. The Jays world continues to turn very strangely Tom Mehegan
