Blue Jays get to Sabathia and then finish off the Yanks in the bottom of the ninth

So in a game where the Jays faced the second best pitcher as Justin Verlander in the American League is heads and tails better than anyone else which includes CC Sabathia who was facing the Jays tonight and the Jays had the bases juiced in separate innings and they were 1 for 4 with the bases juiced as Adam Lind had a three run double in the fifth inning which was apart of a 8 batter inning for the Jays and it put the Jays up 4-3 at that point. By the end of the game it would be Edwin Encarnacion who would have nightmares about it as he stepped to the plate three times in a row with them juiced and ended the inning each time including a double play in the fourth started by CC as he went home and then Encarnacion was thrown out at first and the only RBI Encarnacion had was a fielders choice with runners on the corners with one out in the bottom of the first. The Jays ended up going to the bottom of the ninth tied at four and the inning scored with Adam Lind facing Boone Logan who in 10 at bats Lind had no hits so he just came inches away from ending the game with a walk off homer but instead had his second double of the game and then Brett Lawrie really had made it to the bigs as he was intentionally walked to get to the returning Colby Rasmus who bunted and the Yankees got pinch runner Adam Loewen at third but when Cory Wade came into face Jose Molina it was time to turn out the lights as Molina gaped it for the winning run in a 5-4 victory. The Jays got 9 of their 13 hits from the combination of Mike McCoy, Adam Lind, and Kelly Johnson and Johnson reached base everytime he came to the plate but it was the pitching performance of Dustin McGowan against a very tough Yankees lineup in a game where any little mistake could lose U the ball game as Sabathia can win a game by going all out for nine innings but McGowan throw 5 innings and gave up 3 runs on 3 hits with two walks and K'd four Yankees and all the runs came to back-to-back hitters in Nick Swisher who had a RBI double and Eric Chavez smacked a two run digger as he throw 75 pitches (43 s - 32 b). CC on the other hand was not the true CC as the Jays for the second wore out their opponent as he throw 120 pitches over 5.2 innings pitched and he gave up 4 runs on 10 hits along with an incredible 4 walks to go with his 8Ks.

So the shattered dreams tour continues with Henderson Alvarez going to the mound against Bartolo Colon and Alvarez just impresses more and more every time he steps on the mound and the Jays can shatter a lot of teams dreams this week as they have the Angels followed by the Rays after the Yankees.
