Ricky Romero stays on a roll as he goes the distance

Ricky Romero was amazing again and had his second complete game of the season as shutout the A's on 3 hits while walking 2 batters and struck out 6 A's and throw 111 pitches (66 s - 45 b) and Romero retired the last 15 batters he faced and in his last 5 games opposites are hitting .107 (14 for 131) with a ERA of 0.87 in 40.1 innings pitched. The only runs he gave up were 4 solo shots in those 5 games and he has a 30 strike outs and 11 walks for a ratio of 2.73 and a whip of 0.62 as he might be up for player of the week two weeks in a roll as has given up a run on 5 hits and walk 4 and struck out 9 in 16 innings pitched over his 2 starts this week and has won his last straight starts and is now 12-9 on the season.

While the Bats have come alive with another 7 runs and 11 hit attack again tonight as Yunel Escobar was the only starter that had problems with A's starter Trevor Cahill as he went 0 for 3 with the only 2 strikeouts against Cahill and ended up 0 for 5 with 3Ks by the end of the game. So everybody else that started had at least a hit and that attack was lead by Colby Rasmus who went 3 for 4 with his second homer (14th) in back to back days which was a two-run shot and he also added his 21st double on the season too and that was helped by Brett Lawrie's 2 hits which included a RBI single to open the scoring to with a double as well. J.P. had only 1 hit but it was a big one as he had a two-run single and Encarnacion and Lind had the other RBIs in a 7-0 victory over the A's and it got so out of hand that Mike McCoy played center field for Rasmus in the bottom of the eighth and Mark Teahen hit for Adam Lind in the top of the ninth and played first base for him in the bottom of the inning.

The Jays have scored 30 runs on 41 hits and 17 walks so far on this road trip and have a 3 and 1 record so far on it while getting rid of the pieces that are not fitting in as Trever Miller was sent backing, Jon Rauch is on the DL, and now Brad Mills has been sent back to the minors as Joel Carreno will be called up from Double A New Hampshire and as expected Luis Perez will be pitching against the A's on Saturday.

Brett Cecil Vs Rich Harden tomorrow and lets hope that Harden does not pitch anywhere near as he pitched last week
