Jeff Francis plays his first game in his major league career in Canada and puts on a show

So the Royals came into the game in the series out hitting the Jays 25-11 in the first two games and the Jays had not out hit the Royals in either game and the Jays were lucky to be even in the series and tonight it was all about Vancouver, BC own Jeff Francis who came into the game 4 and 14 with a 4 ERA and he just controlled the Jays to only three hits in the first 6 inning which was his first ever Major League appearance in Canada. While Brett Cecil in 6 plus innings gave up 5 runs on 9 hits and a walk with 3Ks and gave up 3 more singles before the end of the top of the seventh inning and the Royals were out hitting the Jays 12-3 and the Royals were lead by a Francoeur RBI single, Salvador Perez RBI single, Mike Moustakas RBI single, Johnny Giavotella RBI single, Melky Cabrera had a solo homer his 17 on the season along two hits, and Billy Butler had 2 hits. Then the Jays bats woke up during the last three innings as in the seventh J.P. hit his 20th homer which was a two-run shot, in the eighth Brett Lawrie had a RBI triple and came home on a J.P. sac fly, and in the ninth Edwin Encarnacion hit his 13th homer another two-run shot while the Jays had 7 hits in the last three innings. The Royals matched the Jays move for move as Billy Butler had his third of four hits in the game and it was a two run RBI double in the eighth and in the ninth Mike Moustakas had a RBI double while Mitch Maier had a sac fly. So the bullpen could not hold the Royals down as Shawn Camp gave up 2 runs on 6 hits in 1.1 inning pitched, Rommie Lewis gave up two runs in 0.1 inning pitched but Jesse Litsch pitched 1-2-3 in the ninth inning.

The Royals came into the series 19-39 on the road this season and had lost the last 9 series in the Rogers Centre and left with the series win and the Royals won the season series 4 and 3 this season which is not good if the Jays want to be a contender in the wild card picture they need to dominate the teams like the Royals. Also John Farrell left the bench with pain in his side and was taken away from the team early to get checked out and more info to come later about this.

The Jays need to show everybody this is their house and need to take the Rays down in the four game series
