The Blue Jays remake their bullpen heading into September

Before the game the Jays did a makeover of bullpen as the the crazy big man known as Jon Rauch went to the hospital and went into surgery to have an appendectomy on Tuesday morning after he complained of stomach pain and this would be similar to the stomach pain Jays have been having all season long watching the bullpen explode and cost the Jays a number of games this season. So Jon Rauch with the surgery has been put on the 15 day DL which means he will be out until September and most likely it will be his last appearance as a Blue Jay.

Also Trever Miller was award for receiving the Jays one millionth blow save by the Jays bullpen this season an he received an one way ticket away from the team as he was designated for assignment and he was extra baggage in the Colby Rasmus trade and it was time for him to go.

The Jays are replacing these two non-factors with a couple of Lefties in Wil Ledezma and Rommie Lewis who are coming in from Las Vegas and Wil Ledezma pitched in 2 games out of the bullpen with the Jays earlier this season in 3 innings and gave up 3 runs on 4 hits with 3 walks and 5 Ks along with given up a homer out of the bullpen. He has appeared in 36 games and has given up 24 earned runs on 49 hits with 19 walks and 64Ks while given up 6 homers in Las Vegas this season while he also has 3 saves on the farm as well. Then there is Rommie Lewis has pitched in 42 games and worked 58.2 inning pitched and gave up 43 earn runs on 71 hits while given up 10 homers and walked 29 and 50Ks with an ERA of 6.60 in Las Vegas with 4 saves.
