Brett Lawrie hits his first homer to help the horse known as Ricky Romero win another one

Brett Lawrie hit his first Major League homer off of Alfredo Simon in the sixth inning and that went along with Jose Bastista two-run double with two outs in the third inning to open the scoring off losing pitcher Alfredo Simon as the Jays won going away as Ricky Romero had another amazing 8 inning performance as he gave up 4 hits and struck out 5 while not walking an Oriole and only Mark Reynolds got to him as he showed the Jays his power by hitting two solo homers to account for all the Orioles scoring to give him 26 on the season. Johnny Mac was hitting a hot bat as he had 3 hits to give him an average of 235 when it was below a toonie earlier this season as he hit a RBI double and 2 singles including a RBI single to give him two RBIs in the game and Encarnacion kept swing his hot bat as he had 3 hit including a double his 28th to lead the team and two singles while scoring twice to drive up his average to 277. Colby Rasmus had two more hits including another double to give him 10 hits in 41 at bats with a homer and 4 doubles and 5 RBIs while going 8 for 21 with a homer, 3 doubles, and 3 RBIs in his last 5 games so he picking up steam ready to maybe get on a roll to end the season. Adam Lind on the other hand went o for 5 with 2Ks and is in a bit of a slump while J.P. had a two-run double but that was his only hit of the game as he too struck out and still has a battling average of 216 and might need to be a bit more patient at the plate and the average will jump.

So the Jays go 3-3 on the road should of been at least 4 and 2 but they are bring the circus to town so get your popcorn ready and lets hope nobody does anything stupid on Tuesday with a larger audience
