Johnny Mac error brings in the winning run

Henderson Alvarez faced a line up of all left hand batters who are batting .167 and he got an early lead as A's starter Gio Gonzalez who came into the game 1 and 5 since the all-star beak and with one out Eric Thames had his first of two hits and then Yunel Ecobar who took Bautista's spot in the lineup flied out for out number 2 and that was followed by Adam Lind being hit on the right arm and left the game after the inning was over but first Edwin Encarnacion had a RBI single. Brett Lawrie was being pitched inside and on a 2 and 0 pitch and in the first he fouled out to first base to end the inning which was the only inning that the Jays had a rally while flied out in the fourth and struck out in the seventh and will need to make an adjustment which he will do. In the bottom of the first inning Hideki Matsui had a RBI single which was the only earned run that Alvarez gave up and he throw a lot more sliders which the King said he should try and he only got ahead on the count 10 of 24 times which the King also said he should do it more and he still does need to do it more. In the bottom of the third Johnny Mac made a great diving play and got the third out of the inning and then he had a double play ball hit to him but the ball went off his glove in the fourth and Brandon Allen went first to third on Mac's fielding error and then scored on a double play started by Mac and it was turned into a unearned run and became the winning run for the A's. Alvarez pitched 6 innings and gave up 2 runs (1 earned) on 7 hits with an one walk and 3Ks while Gio Gonzalez set down 19 of 20 batters which included setting down 15 in a row and set down 22 of his last 24 Blue Jay batters as he went 8 innings and up a run on 4 hits with a walk along with 9Ks.

The Jays Bullpen came undone in the eighth inning and they gave up 3 runs in the inning and it made it a 5-1 victory and Rommie Lewis came in for his major league debut and faced Josh Willingham and the umpire made a bad call on a fair/foul ball and it was called foul when it should of been a fair ball and U would think it would play in the Jays favor but in the end Willingham hit a two run homer for his 22Nd homer and the A's only have 81 homers now.

Eric Thames had like 50 people to come see him in his home coming and had two of the four hits for the Jays and now have 7 singles in the last two games and now Luis Perez pitches tomorrow to try to even the series and give them a winning road trip.

Ok Blue Jays Lets Play Ball
