Game 67 - 33 - 34 -Adam Lind homers to keep the Jays perfect in extras @ home

Adam Lind sent the fans home happy as he homered for the 12 time this season in the 11th inning as the Jays are now 6-0 @ home in extra inning as they won 6-5 and Orioles pitcher Koji Uehara was completely shocked that Lind hit a homer off him after he had struck out Cory Patterson and Jose Bautista as all the Jays batters were swinging for the fences.

The Jays started the game well after Adam Jones had a sac fly to give the Orioles a 1-0 lead in top of the first and it was the only run Carlos Villanueva gave up until the seventh inning so the Jays tied the game in the bottom of the inning Adam Lind had a RBI double and it was 1-1 until the bottom of the third Jose Bautista hit a double play ball but a throwing error by second baseman Robert Andino allowed Bautista to reach and Yunel Escobar scored to make it 2-1. In the fourth Arron Hill scored on a Yunel Escobar and then Jayson Nix scored on a Cory Patterson ground out and it was 4-1 Jays.

In the top of the seventh inning Carlos Villanueva gave up a single and walk and then Jason Frasor came in and throw a wild pitch so it was second and third which lead to a Robert Andino sac fly to make it 4-2 and then J.J. Hardy had a RBI double to make it 4-3 Jays and then the bottom of the inning J.P. started off with a double but was caught stealing and it cost the Jays a run as Arron Hill hit his second homer of the season and the Jays were up 5-3. Marc Rzepczynski came in for the eighth inning and gave up a walk to Vladimir Guerrero followed by a homer by Matt Wieters to tie the game at 5 and Marc is a run down pitcher right now and is hurting with all the extra innings the bullpen has to be pitching this season and he has been off his game over the last couple of weeks.

Carlos Villanueva pitched 3 runs on 7 hits in 6 inning and a couple of batters with 2 walks and 3 Ks while Casey Janssen had an one hit shutout inning while Jon Rauch had a 2 hit in 2 shutout inning, and Shawn Camp won the game with an one hit shutout inning.

Jays win the opener against the Orioles with Ricky Romero pitching the middle game of the series
