Ricky likes to walk Tigers

So Ricky Romero did not come in with the most walks but he gave up a single to Austin Jackson and he had three hits in the game who moved to second on an error to Omar Visquel who was playing third because Brett Lawrie had a set back in the minors and will not being joining the team anytime soon. After following up with two outs Ricky pitched around Prince Fielder and walked him and was ahead 0 and 2 on Jhonny Peralta and walked him and then walked Delmon Young to bring in the first run and by the end of the second he had walked 6 of 8 batters and was down 3-0. Then after the walks ended he retired 11 of 13 Tigers but when Edwin Encarnacion cut the lead to 3-1 with a solo shot in the 6 inning but Ricky was not comfortable with it being a two run game so in the bottom of the inning he walked two more to give him the lead in walks with 86 and loaded the bases and Omar Infante had a RBI single and after Brad Lincoln came in for Ricky he gave up a RBI sac fly and it was 5-1 after sixth. Ricky Romero had 8 walks in the game which is the most walks in baseball this season and he lasted 5.1 innings and gave up 5 runs on 7 hits with no ks. The Jays faced Max Scherzer who was striking out so many Jays that he passed teammate Justin Verlander for the lead in ks and k'd 8 and went 7 innings and only gave up the Encarnacion homer and he gave up 5 hits. The Jays rallied for two runs off the bullpen in the eighth off Octavio Dotel as David Cooper had a RBI double which was apart of his three hit night and Yunel Escobar RBI single. In the ninth the Jays got Edwin Encarnacion up as the lead run with runners pn first and second and he argued about strike one and swung at a pitch in the dirt for strike two and with David Cooper on deck Edwin Encarnacion was called for bring his bat to far against Jose Valverde by the first base ump to give Valverde his 24th save of the season. Ricky is still looking for his stuff and his second summer win Tom Mehegan
