Game 47 - 24 - 23 - Villanueva pitches a great 5 innings and J.P. seals the deal

Jose Bautista did something he has done 38 times since the beginning of the 2010 season which is hit a home tun in his first abat which is amazing because he has 35 homers after his first abat and the solo shot gave the Jays a 1-0 lead and then Carlos Villanueva went and throw darts at Yankees hitters as Brett Gardner's double was the only Yankee hitter to reach base the first time through the order.

Then Edwin Encarnacion after a good defensive play in the bottom of the third making a good decision on taken change of a pop up in front of the plate on a Chris Dickerson pop up but then the ceiling fell in on him as he missed played a Brett Gardner routine ground ball that eat him up and went into the outfield to give him 8 fielding errors over at third base. Then it got worst as in the top of the 6th inning he stuck out for the third time in the game and Johnny Mac replaced him at third base in the bottom of the 6th inning so it looks like Edwin may only spell a rest for Thames at DH or sent for assignment.

The Top of the 6 inning around that final K by Edwin was huge as Yankees pitcher Bartolo Colon walked 3 Blue Jays (2 intentionally) and it was a huge inning because of J.P. as after Hill singled to break a 1-1 tie and then Eric Thames got walked unintentionally to walk in the third run to make it 3-1 Jays. Where J.P. stepped up and cleared the bases with an one out double to make it 6-1 Jays and then in the 8 inning singled in an Arron Hill double to give him 4 runs batted in and he had 2 of the 3 hits with a runner in scoring position and has the third bases loaded hit on the season which gave the Jays a 7-1 lead.

Carlos Villanueva pitched 5 innings of 2 hit ball with a walk and 5 strikeouts and his only mistake was to walk Curtis Granderson as it was followed by a Mark Teixeira single that with his speed Granderson went first to third and then a Robinson Cano sac fly brought him in for the only run Villanueva would give up. The only mistake by the bullpen was walking Curtis Granderson in sixth because when Jason Frasor walked him as the first batter he faced and A-rod singled and Granderson went first to third again and a fielding error on Yunel Escobar on a ground ball by Robinson Cano that Yunel felt he could turn into a double play but bubbled it instead but should of record the second out as Hill had the ball before A-rod touched the bag scored him. In the eighth it happened again when Jon Rauch did it and this time he stole second and then A-rod moved him to third with an infield hit and Robinson Cano singled him home but the Jays won 7-3. It really helped having a more veteran pitchers pitching as Villanueva was able to deal with the Escobar error and it did not destroy him and he did not let the runner score while neither did Jason Frasor when Yunel got over excited and was unable to handle the ball before trying to start the double play and Frasor did not let any more damage happen in the inning. This is the opposite than when a younger pitcher has it happen to them as it is usually the beginning of the end for that pitcher so it was nice to see them being able to control the situation but I do understand that the younger pitchers are still learning on the fly.

The Aces go head to head and lets see if Ricky can make it 2 in a row and 6 straight road wins
