So last night the Jays held onto a 11-6 as Travis Snider had a sac fly along with RBI single and finally a 3 run homer and it was set up by an Adam Kennedy messed up on finishing off a double play that would have finished the inning but was able to handle the throw to keep the inning alive that helped Travis have his second 5 RBI in the July. While Eric Thames ground-rule double fan interference gave him 2 RBI while Edwin Encarnacion hit his 7th homer on the season and also Adam Lind also hit a homer too but it ended up having Frank Francisco gave up a homer to Adam Kennedy in the eighth and then Octavio Dotel gave up a two-run shot to Dustin Ackley to make it a lot closer.
Today on Camp Day at the Rogers Center if it was played outside it would of felt like 50 C so the Jays decided to keep the roof closed so the did not get boiled during this early afternoon game and The game was going at a great pace with Ricky Romero and Doug Fister and the game went into the bottom of the seventh with the Jays up 2-1 and then Fister fell apart as he gave up 2 singles and 2 walks with a defensive error behind him that all lead to him being created with 2 of the 3 runners scoring earned runs and he did not get a single Jays out in the seventh. Then in the top of the eighth Romero got the first out and then 2 singles and a walk to the next three batters and Casey Janssen came in to face catcher Miguel Olivo who smacked his 13th homer of the season and it was a grandslam to tie the game at 5. Then in the bottom of the eighth Mariners reliever David Pauley came in and got two quick outs but then Mike McCoy doubled and Yunel Escobar walked and that lead to a Rajai Davis game winning two run double in his only at bat today to make it 7-5 Jays which lead to Jon Raunch to the game and as he had finished off the eighth he got the win.
Jose Bautista had a RBI single and a sac fly in the game
